Who we're looking for

Licensed agents ready to help people with coverage

You don't need years of Marketplace experience to apply. You do need an active license, and Marketplace or Medicare certifications must be in place before you work with those consumers.

  • Licensed health insurance agents

An active resident license with a health (or accident and health) line of authority, and a National Producer Number (NPN).

  • ACA Marketplace agents

In HealthCare.gov states, CMS Marketplace registration and training for the plan year must be complete before you assist Marketplace consumers. State-based Marketplaces have their own certification.

  • Medicare-certified agents

Welcome to apply. Annual AHIP training and carrier certifications are required before marketing Medicare Advantage or Part D plans.

  • Newer licensed agents

Recently licensed? You're welcome to apply. We'll talk through what's needed before you work with clients.

ACA Marketplace

Help households compare plans and apply for savings

People buying their own coverage often have questions about plans, costs and financial help. As a ProtecWise agent, you'd help households compare plans, check the savings they may qualify for and complete their Marketplace application.

Tools you get after onboarding

Approved agents get secure access to these tools once onboarding and training are complete.

  • Live Marketplace quoting

Plan comparisons with premiums, deductibles and out-of-pocket limits for a client's ZIP code and household.

  • Agent-assisted enrollment through HealthSherpa

Available once you're affiliated with ProtecWise in HealthSherpa.

  • Secure client portal

Clients can save quotes, upload documents and get renewal reminders.

  • Agency Workspace

Client records, follow-ups, policy status and renewals, with two-factor sign-in.

How joining works
